From time to time, the investments held within your Manzil portfolio may pay out cash distributions. Cash distributions are often a result of either stock dividends or bond coupons.
When this happens, you'll see these appear in the app as "Dividend" in the Investment History for a given goal.
Following receipt, cash distributions will automatically be reinvested back into your Manzil portfolio.
Please note that:
- Dividends are part of your total return, whereas other parts come from capital gains (such as price appreciation) on your investments.
- We process dividends as are received to your account, as they are always a part of your total return (even if sometimes they may be lower or higher).
