Family
| Primary Relatives | Parents, spouse, children, full siblings, grandparents, and children of sons or brothers. |
| Secondary Relatives | Half siblings and their children, and siblings of your parents and their children (cousins). These relatives will be included if not enough Primary Relatives are present. |
Bequests
These are gifts to people or organizations who are not included in the inheritance distribution based on Islamic Law. This can include charities, friends, non-Muslim relatives, etc.

Your Estate
| Executor and Estate Trustee | The person will distribute funds to your beneficiaries and can act on behalf of your business and financial interests when you die. This person is typically a relative or friend - for example, a spouse or sibling, someone who you trust and who is personally familiar with your wishes. |
| Power of Attorney for Property | They will make decisions about your property and financial affairs, such as your bills, accounts and investments and collect money owed to you if you are unable to do so yourself. |
| Power of Attorney for Personal Care | They will be the voice of your healthcare decisions if you are unable to communicate. This individual can make decisions regarding your health care, housing, meals, and clothing. |
| Guardians |
They are named in a will to take care of a minor child or children if their parents pass away. They are typically a family member or close friend. |
