Persona will guide you to line up your camera to recognize the ID. Once the ID is recognized, the app will automatically capture the image. - If the app cannot automatically recognize your ID, you will be prompted to try again.
Matching Your Face to Your ID
Once your ID is captured, the next step is to take a selfie for face matching:
1. Follow the on-screen instructions to position your face in the camera's view.
2. The app will ask you to look in several directions to fully capture your face.
3. If the app cannot recognize your face, you will be prompted to try again.
4. If everything matches, a success message will appear, and you can proceed to your home screen.
What Happens If There Are Issues with ID Verification?
If the system is unable to successfully verify your ID, the OneVest support team will reach out directly to assist you with manual verification.
In the case of manual verification, you will be asked to provide photos of the front and back of a government issued photo ID, along with a selfie (photo of yourself).
